In the last decade terrorist acts have dominated the headlines like no other issue. Can the murder of civilians for a political goal ever be justified?

If one mans terrorist is another’s freedom fighter should we consider terror a new tool of war? There is a chance that the other side doesn't really believe in the legitimacy of its own freedom fighters and that this constitutes in fact a desperate call for help.

Finally, can there be an effective relationship between terrorism, poverty and crime?
