The internet and computing giants transformed our world with new technologies and potential. Yet tax issues and privacy fears have meant that they are increasingly seen as malevolent monopolies threatening our democracies and freedoms. Is big necessarily bad? And if so, how do we protect ourselves? Or should we stop moaning and enjoy the products?
