Biography
Patricia Ellis is an artist, art writer, consultant, and curator specialising in all areas of contemporary art and is currently working at the Chelsea College of Arts. She has worked with the Saatchi Gallery since 1998 as an Associate Interpretations Curator and was the editor for Make, a magazine designed for women in the arts. Patricia Ellis has also contributed to publications such as Beaux Arts and Modern Painters & Metropolis M and regularly contributes to Spike Quarterly. As an artist, Ellis’ paintings reflect her interest in how art is communicated in our current digital age. Patricia Ellis’ books include 100: The Work That Changed British Art and Interview with Painting, which she co-authored.
