Charan Ranganath
Charan Ranganath is a Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of California, Davis, where he directs the Dynamic Memory Lab. A leading figure in the science of memory, he has spent over 25 years investigating the mechanisms in the brain that allow us to remember past events, drawing on brain imaging, computational modelling, and work with patients with memory disorders.
He has won several awards for his work, including the Guggenheim Fellowship and a Vannevar Bush Faculty Fellowship. His book Why We Remember is a New York Times bestseller.
