FollowChristopher Cowie is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Durham, and co-organiser of the ‘Argument and Evidence in the Search for Extraterrestrial Life’ project, sponsored by the British Society for Philosophy of Science. Alongside his work on the epistemology of extraterrestrial life, he has written extensively on metaethics and moral paradoxes, including Morality and Epistemic Judgment: The Argument from Analogy (Oxford University Press, 2019) and The Repugnant Conclusion: A Philosophical Enquiry (Routledge, 2020).
