Edward Harcourt is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Oxford and Academic Director of the Royal Institute of Philosophy. He served as Director of Research, Strategy and Innovation at UKRI's Arts and Humanities Research Council from 2018 to 2022, and is currently interim Director of Oxford's Institute for Ethics in AI.
