Harry Collins is Honorary Professor at the Institute of Education, University College London, and former Distinguished Research Professor of Sociology and at Cardiff University. He's known for his work on the Bath School and the Sociology of Scientific Knowledge, and was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 2012. His research draws on decades of close involvement with the search for gravitational waves, and he is the author of numerous books, including Gravity's Kiss, The Golem, and Dr. Golem, exploring science, expertise, and how scientific knowledge is made.
