John S. Dryzek is Distinguished Professor of Political Science at the University of Canberra. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia, a Corresponding Fellow of the British Academy, and former editor of the Australian Journal of Political Science. One of the founding theorists of the "deliberative turn" in democratic theory, he is the author of Deliberative Democracy and Beyond (Oxford University Press, 2000), Discursive Democracy (Cambridge University Press, 1990), and The Foundations and Frontiers of Deliberative Governance (Oxford University Press, 2012).
