Paul Kottman is Professor of Comparative Literature and Chair of Program in Liberal Studies at The New School for Social Research and co-director of the Institute for Philosophy and the New Humanities. He is the author of several books on literature and philosophy, including A Politics of the Scene (Stanford University Press, 2007) and Love as Human Freedom (Stanford University Press, 2017).
