Priyanka Chaturvedi is an Indian politician who served as a Member of Parliament and is a former Deputy Leader of the political party Shiv Sena (UBT). She established herself as one of Parliament's most vocal critics of the ruling BJP on press freedom, digital regulation, and the condition of Indian democracy under Modi.

Previously, she was one of the National Spokespersons of the Indian National Congress party. She has also been a columnist for Tehelka, Daily News and Analysis and Firstpost. She is a trustee of two NGOs and works to promote children's education, women's empowerment and health. She also runs a book review blog which is amongst the top ten blogs of its type in India.
