Simon Palfrey is Professor of English Literature at the University of Oxford, specialising in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature. He is the author of Doing Shakespeare (Arden, 2005), which was chosen as a Times Literary Supplement International Book of the Year; Shakespeare in Parts (Oxford University Press, 2007), written with Tiffany Sterne; and Poor Tom: Living King Lear (University of Chicago Press, 2014), among others. He is a founding editor of Shakespeare Now!.
