Thomas Parr is an Academic Clinical Fellow in Neurology at the University of Oxford, with a research focus on theoretical neuroscience and computational psychiatry. He is known for his work on the theory of active inference, and is the co-author (with Karl Friston and Giovanni Pezzulo) of Active Inference: The Free Energy Principle in Mind and Behaviour (MIT Press, 2022), the first comprehensive textbook on the subject.
