Tongdong Bai is the Dongfang Chair Professor of Philosophy at Fudan University and Global Professor of Law at New York University. His research, which focuses on traditional Chinese philosophy to comparative political philosophy, includes China: The Political Philosophy of the Middle Kingdom (Zed Books, 2012) Against Political Equality: the Confucian Case (Princeton University Press, 2020).
