Allison Macfarlane
Allison Macfarlane is the director of the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs at the University of British Columbia and former chairman of the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. She worked with Obama's Blue Ribbon Commission to create America's long-term plan with nuclear waste, has served on the National Academy of Sciences panel of nuclear affairs and was chair of the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, the group behind the famous "doomsday clock".
