Martin Winkler is a German particle physicist and cosmologist. He received his PhD at the Technical University of Munich and has subsequently worked at several internationally renowned research institutes including the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (Hamburg), the Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics (Stockholm) and the University of Texas at Austin. His research centers around the early Universe with a particular focus on the theory and the detection of dark matter.
