Michael Patrick Lynch is Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the University of Connecticut. His most recent book is Know-it-all Society, which was awarded the 2019 George Orwell Award for Distinguished Contribution to Honesty and Clarity in Public Language.
