Miguel Farias
Miguel Farais is an experimental psychologist at Coventry University and author of ‘The Buddha Pill: Can Meditation Change You?’. He has carried out the first randomized-controlled trial on the effects of yoga and meditation in prisons and examines the science and myths about the effects of these practices. He is one of the leading critics of the usually wholly positive mindfulness and self-exploratory practices.
