Sophie Grace Chappell is a Professor of Philosophy at The Open University. She writes about ethics, politics, ancient philosophy, and the philosophy of sex and gender. Her books include Epiphanies, Knowing What to Do, and Ethics and Experience. She is a published poet and translator. Her most recent books are Aeschylus’ Agamemnon: A New Translation, A Philosopher Looks At Friendship, and Trans Figured: On Being a Transgender Person in a Cisgender World.
