Theodore Dalrymple is the pen-name for Anthony Malcolm Daniels, a well-loved English cultural critic, prolific writer, satirist, prison physician and psychiatrist. Dalrymple is known for his refreshing takes on the state of culture and social issues. He has worked in the East End of London and a number of Sub-Saharan African countries.

He has written for the Times and Spectator and has written several books, both fiction and non-fiction, including Our Culture, What’s Left of It, Spoilt Rotten, Grief and Other Stories, and more.
