Tom Cochrane
Tom Cochrane is a senior lecturer in philosophy at Flinders University in Adelaide. He is the author of The Emotional Mind: A control theory of affective states (Cambridge University Press, 2018) and The Aesthetic Value of the World (Oxford University Press, 2021), which includes material on flow in beauty and drama. In other work he has analysed the phenomenon of group flow and how the immediate satisfaction of intentions can explain the loss of self-consciousness.
