Sophie Scott-Brown is a Junior Fellow in European Contemporary History at LMU Berlin, and an Honorary Fellow at the University of St Andrews, specialising in direct democracy, anarchism, activism, and education. Her historical work on left-wing politics, especially the post-war British left, has earned her widespread recognition as well as her intellectual biography of Raphael Samuel, entitled The Histories of Raphael Samuel - A Portrait of A People’s Historian.
