The IAI's world leading festival of ideas and music HowTheLightGetsIn Hay 2024 returns this spring. Instead of our online event, we're welcoming the globe's greatest thinkers to Hay-on-Wye's beautiful rolling hills this May Bank Holiday from 24th to 27th!

The speaker lineup already includes cutting edge scientists, iconic polictical commentators, and world-leading philosophers including Peter Singer, Slavoj Žižek and Gillian Tett. In the idylic riverside fields, they'll lock horns over everything from dangers of democracy and the future of peace in our world, to the riddle of the universe and the query of AI's creativity.
