Evolutionary biologists argue, the story of human warfare begins with the legacy of our distant ancestry and past. Anthropologists Jane Goodall and John Mitani have observed chimps committing what we would now call war crimes: torture, cannibalism, rape, and even genocide. With this propensity for war in our blood, in our DNA, is warfare unavoidable?
